The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mohammad Sohail Afridi, has announced a Rs200 billion development package for the Hazara Division. He made this announcement during a meeting held in Abbottabad.
Speaking at the event, the chief minister said the package is aimed at improving infrastructure, tourism, health, education, and other public services in the region. He said the government wants to ensure balanced development across all districts of Hazara.
He added that a special meeting will soon be held to review the proposed development projects in detail. Officials have been directed to identify priority schemes so that work can begin without delay.
The chief minister said the funds will be used for road construction, water supply projects, schools, hospitals, and tourism-related initiatives. He emphasized that transparency and timely completion of projects will be ensured.
Mr. Afridi also said that the government is committed to bringing real change to people’s lives. He stressed that development work should directly benefit local communities and create new opportunities for employment and economic growth.
Members of the provincial assembly and other officials were also present at the meeting. They assured full support for the successful implementation of the uplift package in Hazara.
