The investment could cover mining, advanced technology, industrial projects, and skill development initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>A high-level delegation, led by Party Secretary and Chairman Lu Jinhai, met Board of Investment Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh on Thursday. The group expressed a long-term vision to support Pakistan\u2019s economic growth and technological progress. The delegation also showed interest in collaborating under the One Belt One Road (OBOR) initiative to strengthen regional connectivity and economic cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh highlighted Pakistan\u2019s strategic location, linking South Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East, and noted its large market of over 240 million people and young workforce. He also mentioned the incentives Pakistan offers to investors.<\/p>\n<p>The Chinese group briefed the minister about its global operations.
